Ping K15 driver help me a lot

If you are a slicer and you always can't choose a proper driver, then let me recommend a driver to you, it is Ping K15 driver. I owns the K15 driver a long time, I slice because my hands are late and the K15 driver help me a lot. The heal weight of K15 driver really does enable you to turn your hands over effortlessly and hit the ball straight or even with a draw. The great advantage of it is that you can swing harder and still turn your hands over, and thereby get distance you have never had before.

K15 driver also has a large face which can increase forgiveness and ball velocity for greater distance and accuracy, and it features SF Tec, which moves approximately 10% of the mass toward the heel of the head, making it easier to square the club face at impact for straughter driver, its 435cc titanium head is longer from heel to toe and hass a higher Moment of Inertia, resulting in more consistent distancem ,even on off-centers hits.

Monty misses out on US Open

Three-time runner-up Colin Montgomerie has failed to qualify for this year's US Open after shooting a one-over par total of 145 at Walton Heath. The 47-year-old finished seventh in the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth - his first top-10 finish in nearly three years - but could not carry that form over into Monday. However, the major drama of the day involved Montgomerie's fellow Scot Richie Ramsay, who was not present for his play-off with Swede Johan Edfors and Dane Andreas Harto. The three were set to decide the last of the 11 spots on offer but Ramsay had already left the course to catch a plane to Belfast to attend the wedding reception of fellow professional Gareth Maybin. A fog delay meant play started three-and-a-half hours late, with the play-off taking place after 9pm. Rain also fell for much of the day. Ramsay, who missed his flight but arrived back at the Surrey course too late to take his place, was convinced that play would not be possible in the fading light.

"It's just been an horrific day - an awful, awful day," he said. "As I left it was 5.30pm and guys were teeing off the first. I actually feel physically sick - I can't believe they played when it was pitch dark." Montgomerie added of his own display: "If you don't enter you can't win - I gave it a go. That's hard work - it was miserable out there." Belgian Nicolas Colsaerts secured victory on nine-under par, one shot ahead of Ireland's Shane Lowry. England's Robert Rock, Richard Dinwiddie and David Howell as well as Stephen Gallacher of Scotland also qualified for the year's second major at Congressional. Edfors won the play-off, while the other qualifying spots were filled out by Maarten Lafeber, Thomas Levet, Marcel Siem and Alexander Noren. Ross Fisher missed out but still has a chance to qualify if he can make it into the world's top 50 by the end of next week. He is currently 52nd.

Difference of Mizuno irons (MX 200, MX300, MX1000 irons)

Mizuno has eight different sets of irons in its 2009/2010 line up, they are all impressive, and all the irons have some common ground , but they have more different features and disadvantage, sometimes you may wonder which irons you should choose, and which are fit you.
and now let me tell some details of these irons to you. you can choose the one that suits you

Firstly, the Mizuno MX-200 irons, MX-200 combines the feel of a forged iron with technology designed to offer enhanced forgiveness. The deep cavity has a reinforcement pad (known as Y-Tune) which expands the sweetspot and helps provide an extra nine yards per club than previous MX models. The y-shaped pad is situated towards the toe the area where most amateur mis-hits are made.

Secondly, the Mizuno MX-300 irons, the MX-300 set features reduced offset and a more compact head size. This allows good ball strikers to take advantage of Mizuno's undercut cavity back forgiveness without losing the classic Mizuno appearance and workability. the 'Y Tune Pro' technology of MX 300 irons can enhance feel and flight control for the low to mid handicap golfer. and if you’re not a reasonably consistent ball-striker, you should perhaps try the M-200.

Finally, the Mizuno MX-1000 irons, the MX-1000 takes distance and forgiveness as far as they can, without the head size and profile becoming offensive to the eye, aggressively bevelled lead and trailing edges effectively narrow the MX-1000's substantial soleplate, for clean turf interaction and use from a variety of lies.

Study: More Driver Loft = More Yards

A big problem with the driver for many recreational golfers is too little loft. The feeling is that you don't want the ball going too high, because then it doesn't roll as much. And, therefore, it's better to have less loft. Turns out that thinking is completely wrong. A study conducted shows that more loft on the driver equals more yards for nearly all recreational players. If you have clubhead speed that matches or exceeds that of the pros, then you can get away with playing an 8- or 9-degree driver. But only a tiny fraction of us have that clubhead speed. The rest of us probably need a driver with a loft of at least 11 degrees.

The crux of the article is that more hangtime with your driver generally means more yards, even though that seems counterintuitive to many golfers. One story told is how the long-drive champions use stopwatches in practice to time how long the ball is in the air. If the long drivers recognize the importance of hangtime, that's a good indicator. The study examined driver distances at different swing speeds ranging from 65 mph up to 115 mph, and with driver lofts of 9-, 11-, 14- and 16-degrees. For most golfers, it turns out, adding loft to the driver increases driver distance by an average of 10 yards. At 65 mph, the 16-degree driver was the longest; at 75 mph, the 16-degree again; at 85 mph, the 11-degree was longest (and the 9-degree was the shortest at each level up to this point); at 95 mph, 11-degrees was longest and 14-degrees second-best; at 105 mph, 11-degrees was longest; at 115 mph, 11-degrees was longest. So if you're one of those golfers carrying a 7.5-degree driver or even a 9-degree driver, do yourself a favor and add loft.

Donald in career-best form

Luke Donald's seven-under-par 64 sees him lead the BMW PGA Championship after an interrupted opening day at the Wentworth Club. Marcus Fraser was the best of the Aussies on day one, finishing with a one-under 70 through his 18 holes, as a lightning delay at the European Tour event left a handful of rounds incomplete. English world No.2 Donald is the leader in the clubhouse, ahead of a two-way tie for second between Matteo Manassero and Johan Edfors.

With incumbent Lee Westwood struggling, Donald is well placed to claim top spot in the world rankings if he remains in contention throughout the tournament.Italian Manassero and Swede Edfors both carded five-under 66s in Surrey, England. Another Swede, Oscar Floren, holds outright fourth at four under, but has only completed 14 holes of his opening round. A shot further back, in a tie for fifth, are Spaniard Jose Manuel Lara, Welshman Bradley Dredge and Englishmen Ross McGowan and Ian Poulter. Leader Donald made a solid start with three consecutive pars, before holing four birdies in six holes to reach the turn four under for the round. There was more of the same on the back nine, with four birdies and just one bogey - his only dropped shot of the day - helping him post an impressive seven under.

World No.1 Westwood struggled to a one-over 72. German Martin Kaymer - third in the rankings behind Donald - fared even worse, with a three-over 74. Their struggles leave the path open for Donald to claim top spot at Westwood's expense.

"That was probably one of the best rounds I've ever played to be honest," Donald said.
"It was tough conditions out there - the wind was swirling, there was some rain showers, and this isn't an easy course in the best of conditions."
"So to pretty much have total control of the golf ball today doesn't happen very often in golf but that's how I felt today."
"I was just seeing the shots and I was able to hit them. So it was very, very satisfactory today - very, very pleasing."
The Players Championship at Sawgrass has long been considered golf's 'fifth major', but with the world's top three players competing at Wentworth this year, Donald said the European PGA would soon be a rival for that title.
"It's certainly getting close to that. I think Sawgrass has always been considered the fifth major in the past, it's always had a great field," Donald said.
"But looking at this field, it rivals that for sure. If you judge it by strength of field then I think the gap is closing significantly, if not has been
closed."

The best fairway wood created by Callaway (FT-iZ Fairway Wood)

I have played with the Callaway FT-iZ Fairway Wood a long time, I think it is the best fairway wood that the Callaway has created, it has many amazing features and advantages. it gave me a consistent, predictable ball flight.

FT-iZ Fairway Wood features a carbon composite crown with a stainless steel face and body, which maximizes perimeter weighting for an optimal center of gravity and high MOI for longer, straighter shots. the weight of FT-iZ Fairway Wood is also very light, it is because of a heavy face and in-line power source in the back of the head which increases stability, consistency, and linear acceleration of the ball. It also features a new aerodynamic body design to increase clubhead speed for added distance. FT-iZ Fairway Wood also has a advanced technology, that is VFT Technology, it can create higher ball speeds across the entire face, meaning hotter distance with more consistency.

Callaway FT-iZ Fairway Wood is really very good , I recommend it highly.

McDowell says Golf-European Tour is so strong

The European Tour is now as strong as its ever been having gone through a fallow period as a result of the global credit crunch, according to U.S. Open champion Graeme McDowell. "There is no doubt the European Tour is very excited about the state of the game within our tour," the 31-year-old Briton told reporters at Wentworth. "This is our flagship event and we've got a great field. The tour has been through a tough three or four years—the financial crisis hit sponsors, hit everyone.

McDowell said it was time for the tour to try to resuscitate some old tournaments that have fallen by the wayside in recent years. "We are in a position to hopefully go out and … bring events back like the European Open, English Open, events in Germany, the big strong events we've lost in the last few years," he added. "We are in such a strong position now … we (the players) remain very supportive of the tour and I think we are all in a position to do what we can to make sure we get those big events back." McDowell also called for the Seve Trophy to be given fresh impetus following the death of five-times major champion Seve Ballesteros earlier this month. The team event has often struggled to attract the best players but the Northern Irishman said that would change at this year's edition in Paris in September. "If I don't qualify for the Tour Championship finale in the U.S. I will definitely be supporting the event," he said. "It has got the chance to be a really great event and hopefully solidify as a permanent fixture." McDowell begins his PGA Championship campaign in a threeball with world number two Luke Donald and holder Simon Khan in Thursday's first round.

Woods expects to play in US Open

Tiger Woods says he'll be ready to go for the U.S. Open. Good thing for Woods there's time to get healthy. The golfing great hasn't hit a ball in about two weeks. Woods needs crutches and a walking boot for relief on his aching left leg. He won't even start leg training until the end of next week. But Woods expects to tee off at the U.S. Open June 16-19 at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Md. "You just play through these things," Woods said. "There's a difference between being in pain and being injured." That's why Woods has shut himself down to prepare for the major.

Woods is bothered by pain in his left knee, left Achilles' tendon, tightening in his calf, and has a sore lower back. He says doctors have not mentioned leg surgery. But he doubts he'll play the Memorial next week in Dublin, Ohio. Woods said he'll start training by the end of next week. How his leg responds will determine when he can start hitting balls again—all but ruling out the Memorial.

"I've had four surgeries on it," Woods said. "Obviously, it's not what it was when I was little." That means Woods would go to the U.S. Open with little competition, although this is nothing new for him. In 2008, he had arthroscopic surgery after the Masters and didn’t play again until the U.S. Open. Doctors discovered a double stress fracture in his left tibia in the weeks before the major. Going against his doctor's advice, Woods not only played the U.S. Open, he won it at Torrey Pines in a 19-hole playoff. Now, he says his left leg is not nearly as bad as it was then. His golf, however, is a different story.

See Larger Selection of Vintage Golf Accessories!

Just as any person who appears on PBS' Antiques Roadshow can attest, it is tremendous and amusing to try to find bargains in antiques, and vintage golf equipment is not any exception. Antique golf pieces are moderately easy to find, and pursuing this pastime generally is a method to learn extra concerning the history of the glorious recreation of golf, and how golf drivers, irons, bags, balls and even golf carts have advanced and progressed down the years. It's also amusing to grip an old hickory-shafted club from the '20's, set down a gutta percha ball, and imagine looking into the shear fact that great golf players used this type of antique golf accessories! You quickly achieve higher appreciation for today's forgiving golf clubs and equipment. Especially the "juiced-up" golf balls.

As with any other type of sport, there are pitfalls. You want to ensure items you might be buying are original antique golf attire or an older golfers equipment. If you're buying items with signatures from great players, you want to ensure the signature is authenticated. Some of these collectibles, if authenticated, can revel in great value appreciation over the years. Golfing Collectibles aren't essentially just clubs from the overdue nineteenth or early 20th Century. It's much more than that! The original "Ping" putters from the late 1950's are extremely wanted collectibles. Items bearing the signatures of greats similar to Ben Hogan or Byron Nelson also fetch hefty premiums. Costs for any antique or vintage golf apparatus can get started very moderately, $40-$70, and be as prime as a few thousand dollars for popular, famous or even uncommon golf items.

Every class of Vintage Golf Clubs has it is personal set of standards which aids in determining the ultimate worth of the club. Most critical collectors will invest Most of their energy and time into a particular class of club. This helps to reduce the quantity of research which one will have to carry out, and lets in one to become much more of a topic expert of their specific niche. This also separates those collectors who are singularly excited about accumulating and displaying, from those who take it a step further and actually play with Vintage Golf Equipment. Those collectors, clearly, might pursue a broader vary of Clubs as a substitute of focusing on a particular category.

Excellent golf club from TaylorMade (TaylorMade R9 460 Driver)

I always want to buy a good golf driver, but what I saw are very expensive before, now I found a cheap one and is still excellent , that is made by TaylorMade, it is TaylorMade R9 460 Driver. although it is cheap , it has mang excellent features :

Firstly, it has Movable Weight Technology (MWT), This technology allows the player to easily adjust a metalwood's loft, lie and face angle. This utilizes a metallic sleeve positioned over the tip of the shaft. The sleeve can be rotated into different positions, changing the characteristics of the head, by loosening the bolt that secures the sleeve and shaft into the clubhead.

Secondly, it also has Movable Weight Technology (MWT),This discretionary clubhead weight that can be easily redistributed by the player to change the characteristics of the club. By moving differently weighted cartridges, using a proprietary TaylorMade? wrench, into strategically positioned ports, CG location can be optimized per golfer. Positioning more weight in the heel and less in the toe, speeds club head rotation during the forwardswing, which promotes a draw and/or reduces a slice.

You will also see that these golf club sets are rising to include one rescue club, or sometimes two, rather than the traditional and usual three and four irons.

I found a good golf driver (Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver)

I used to play with TaylorMade golf club and seldom to change my golf club. I often heared of the Callaway golf club, but never have a try, recently I have a try the Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver by chance, and I found it is a good club, with no any hesitation, I bought this driver, after using it several time, I think it is really wothy to buy. I was so exciting that I want to share this driver with you.

The most important thing I want to say is that the Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver has improved my distance, my previous drivers always can't give me a satisfied distance, but the Diablo EDGE Driver, its entire clubhead is made from a modular,4 piece fused Titanium design for the most weight-efficient driver. so the light weight can guarantee the distance and my ball speed. and the other thing I want to say is that the Callaway has used a new technology to desigh their this driver , new Chemically Milled Hyperbolic Cup Face that uses a chemical reduction process to produce extreme precision in clubface thickness. This encourages consistently high ball speeds across the large Diablo Edge Driver sweetspot. the last but not least is the Diablo EDGE Driver is not very expensive. some times, a good golf clun may cost me much money, but the Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver is cheaper than I imagine .

I love the Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver very much now. and how do you think of this diver after my introduction.

Choosing Between Graphite And Steel Golf Clubs

Choosing the right golf club is an extremely important part of improving how you play the game. If you are able to get golf clubs that work extremely well for your golfing style, you will notice an immediate improvement in your game. Usually beginner golfers don't put much thought into the clubs they use. Perhaps you have just been using your grandfather's old clubs that you dug up out of the attic, or maybe you bought some cheap clubs at a yard sale. If you ever want to be a serious golfer, you will need to buy clubs for yourself and choose some that will compliment your playing style. You can accomplish this by changing the shaft length, the head size, and many other details. One of the choices you will have to make is between graphite and steel, the two most popular materials. The one you choose can greatly affect your swing (or work with what you have already learned).

Steel is the cheapest choice of the two. Because of its lower price, many view it as inferior to graphite. However, this is not true at all. If you have a golfing style that works well with steel clubs, there is no reason to go for the more expensive graphite. Steel is much more durable, so you can expect steel clubs to have a longer lifespan than graphite clubs. Steel is heavier than graphite; some view this as a negative point, but some prefer to really feel the weight of the club as they swing it. Steel is also quite a bit stiffer than graphite (which has a higher flexibility). This is partially your personal preference, but your pre-developed swinging style may also tell you something that you wouldn't otherwise know. If you tend to have rather fast swings, you will want to stick with clubs that are stiffer. Steel offers this, but fast swings coupled with heavy clubs can be potentially dangerous, so make sure you always have a tight grip.

Graphite is the other choice, and it is best known for being a lighter and more flexible material. Again, this does not necessarily make it a better choice, since it all depends on what kind of golfing you do. If your strokes are a bit slower than average, a flexible graphite club could be the best choice. The flex of a club can be classified into 4 different ratings: Ladies, Regular, Senior, and Extra Stiff. Graphite clubs rarely fall under the Extra Stiff rating. If you feel that you need the extra stiff clubs, you would probably be better off with a steel club. The best thing you can do is to simply give a few test swings at the club store, and figure out what feels the most like what you have used in the past. Make sure it is something you could use for an entire game, and won't be come uncomfortable.

But as long as you think hard about your choice and then stick with it in the future, you should be able to choose clubs that are ideal for you, and are made out of a material that feels natural when you swing it.

Will Woods play in U.S. Open? So expect!!!

In watching Tiger Woods struggle to walk during his shortened round at the 2011 Players Championship, it didn't seem likely that he would be returning to the course any time soon. But Tiger has said that he will play in the U.S. Open in June at Congressional. That is surprising news given how much pain he said he had. Seeing that Woods has not played a round of competitive golf since the Masters in April, does Woods really have any chance of winning this tournament?

Woods looked terrible at The Players Championship, and it wasn't just his injuries. His swing was off and his green game didn't look any better. To think that he can just march into Congressional, a course he knows well, and win the U.S. Open is something that no golf fan can reasonably expect. In fact, it makes me wonder a little bit about how severe the injury really was at The Players Championship. It is obvious that Woods has knee issues, but it could be possible that his poor play early in the Players contributed to his early departure. After all, he said he had similar pain during his win at the U.S. Open at Torrey Pines but still finished. In any case, there are major issues with his golf game. Not playing or practicing isn't going to help Woods at all. I know Woods wants that major record, but he won't do himself any favors here. If he is truly hurt, then he should skip the U.S. Open. If he isn't, then he needs to get some rounds in ahead of time to have any chance. And we all expect Woods will play in U.s. Open.

Why Famous Golfers Use Brand Golf Equipment?

Golf equipment can't change your game while sometimes it may do help. It's about more than whether or not you have titanium clubs when it comes down to golf. Sometimes the famous brand clubs may make you feel more confident, put more investment in golf equipment and they play better. They may-but if you believed
that functionally, they may no longer that different from the cheaper ones, what would you do then? The best golfers dont't care precisely what label is on their clubs. They care in relation to the wind flow and how significantly they are from the hole. In short, they care regarding stuff matter-they use their expertise to get, not their club. You must understand the law of cause and effect. Excellent golfers can use brand term goods and clothes simply because they've picked up enough tournaments to be able to afford it. Their gear didn't help to make them fantastic-their achievement made them able to purchase equipment. If you understand that, you're by now on your way to be a superior golfer.

New R9 irons

Are you dissatisfied with your current golf clubs ? Are you planning to change a new one ? Are you confused that which golf club should choose ? if so,please allow me to introduce a perfect golf club to you, its high quality and good performance must make you satisfied. the club are the new r9 irons from TaylorMade, the name is TaylorMade R9 Forged Irons.

There is a common advantage about the R9 golf club, that is the clubface of the R9 uses the inverted cone technology on the inner side of the clubface for consistent ball speed on off-center hits. Using that as their foundation, the new R9 irons long and mid irons were designed separately from the short irons to optimize performance in each club. the long- and mid-irons of the R9 aim to provide distance and forgiveness, and the short irons are designed to increase feel and accuracy. The short irons feature a deep undercut cavity and a broad, low-CG sole which are meant to facilitate solid, spin-inducing contact. as for the shaft, the R9 irons come standard with either the KBS steel 90 gram steel shaft (regular or stiff) or the Fujikura Motore graphite shaft (senior, regular, or stiff).

Are you satisfied with the golf club that I recommend to you? I am also a golfer, and the TaylorMade R9 Forged Irons is my favorite, so I really hope you also like it.
