New Ping G20 driver--spied!

After the best part of two highly successful years, it looks like PING are about to launch the replacement to the wonderful G15 driver, in the form of the G20. Although details are sketchy at this point, expect the latest model in the famed G-Series to feature similar (but undoubtedly enhanced) characteristics to the G15 and the G10 that went before.

The G15 is one of a rare breed of clubs that actually defended its Best on Test award in our annual TG Drivers' Test, discount golf clubs when it saw off stiff competition to claim back-to-back wins a few months ago. The club was also highly-favoured across the Pond, so the new model will look to build on the G15's outstanding success.

You can expect the club to offer a powerful ball flight, with less spin for more distance off the tee.TaylorMade Burner 2.0 Irons You can also expect the new product to help better players and game-improvers too, with the head almost certain to be the maximum 460cc allowed by the governing bodies. The new product won't be retailing in Europe for another couple of months by our reckoning, but the word emanating from the United States is that some players will be trialling the G20 at this week's St Jude Classic.Callaway FT-iZ Fairway Wood Look out for the inside track on the new G20 in a forthcoming issue of TG.
